I love this ice cream shop! It's a great traditional ice cream shop if you prefer more standard flavors and toppings. They also have so many different flavors! Their menu is much larger than what's in the glass display, but that just means they'll scoop it from their fridge they have behind the display. Their service is good. Usually there's not a line when we go, but even when there is it moves pretty fast. They don't do tasting samples, but they do have a "see you later" where you can get a small sample scoop of an ice cream with your order for free. I really like that because you can try an ice cream flavor you're not sure of and then maybe next time get it. The ice cream shop is really cute. It feels like an old-school ice cream shop with its chalkboard menu, cute tile walls, and clear displays. It reminds of a small town ice cream shop. That being said, it's clean and new so overall well-maintained. Parking: There are many parking garages in Palo Alto so it's not too hard for us to find parking

Scoops customer service is incredible! Not only do they still answer their phones, they go above and beyond. I ordered on DoorDash and somehow my cones didn't make it into the order that I placed. I called them and with no hesitation they gave me a cone on the house so I could still enjoy my ice cream at home-- honesty it was a small thing but it made my night and so many places are so transactional these days. Brownie points that their ice cream is DELICIOUS. Their speculoos flavor is my favorite and there are so many chunks of cookie. Thanks again!

We wanted to say big thanks to the owner, Ben for the special treat to our California School for the Deaf 4th & 5th graders. He and an employee showed us awesome display how to make a new ice cream batch using the machine. The kids enjoyed eating their ice cream. It is a five finger must (ASL sign) equivalent to five starts as highly recommended if you plan to stop by on University Ave. Big Handwaves to Ben, the owner and an employee!! We will definitely go there again next time. The photo was on June 20th, 2024.

Hands down, one of Palo Alto's hidden gems. Whenever I'm in town, I head to this spot by default because the quality of the ice cream and the service is consistently outstanding. Every time I walk in, I'm warmly greeted by the friendly staff, making the experience even more enjoyable and the extra mile worthwhile. It's hard to find an ice cream shop that captures the Bay Area vibe. Not only does the atmosphere reflect the Bay, but the menu extends that notion. I mean, where else are you going to find "Hella Nutella," "Bourbon Vanilla," and "Ube" all in one location? Special thanks to the owner, Ben, for his patience and for providing various recommendations of the assortments before I made my final decision.
